Sergiu
teleuta
a painter that wants no lebel
At
the inauguration of the exhibition at Top Art gallery I met
a painter which, as the critic Lucian Strochi said in the opening
speech , does not want to be labeld. He is nothing else but
himself, although some of those who were present there tried
to frame him between the late expressionists without asking
the artist if he at least tried this kind of framing.
Finally,
what matters is that Sergiu Teleuta is indeed an original painter.
He proves that he has an imagination rich in meanings that expresses
through a laborious compositional science. There also is in his
painting a spiritual game of imagination and a stamp of some
inner feelings. When his receptivity descovers, beyond the senzorial
limits, poetry and human , the themes of some of his paintings
as "Yellow Castle ", "The medieval Sky"
or ''The Red Shadow'' contain a cogent dialogue between the
artist and the reality outside of him.
Others,
like ''Olympia" and ''My castle" are a proof that
none of the detalis is there as a simple wish to create an atmosphere:
it is there because he contains a philosophical meaning, a hint
for the truth of the objective world. A lot of details are represented
with a clarity that has no ambiguity, inside an image of deep
lyricism (see '' The Green Painting'' or '' Gladiator'' ).
Sergiu
Teleuta comes to Piatra-Neamt from Orhei (via Iasi) with 12
paintings - enough asa first contact. It remains that, over
the years , to see which road he has taken. He is still at the
age of descovering.Descovering full of meaning ,we should say
.

At
"Filart" Gallery a new interesting exhibition is opened,
that enjoys our eyes through the explosion of colour. It is the
personal exhibiton of Sergiu Teleuta, a painter from Orhei,
Republic of Moldavia.Although young (born on 6th of June 1980),
Sergiu Teleuta has graduated The Unviversity of Visual Arts
''George Enescu " from Iasi in 2003 and for the moment
he is preparing to graduate for the Master Degree.
Although
he is just in the beginning of his career (which tend to get
really be promising), the painter has had already 4 personal
exhibitions and a lot of group exhibition (the most of them
at Iasi). His paintings can be found in private collections in
Ireland, SUA, France,Germany,etc.
Sergiu
Teleuta is a painter pasioned not only buy drawing and colour
but als buy ideas. His paintings , in which the man is the representative
figure, ilustrates a sort of "harmoniuous sadness",
a sort of vivid grace.Man is surprised in different atitudes
like force, desperation and sometimes an affectionate melancholy. What
makes the painter unique in his young generation is the overflowing
of the rich colour.
Although
young, Sergiu Teleuta tries different domaines, but the Moldavian
painter tells us about his main domanin: "I have deeply
studied the techniques of mural painting: al seco, al fresco,
mosaic, graffity, aqrilik and oil.I am also studing and practising
restoration in mural painting.Because of my experience in this
domanin I signed contracts for the restoration of three churches:
two from Romania and one from The republic of Moldavia".
